KIOSK BANKING

 

SBI KIOSK Banking is a facility provided by State Bank Of India wherein customers need not go to the SBI branch to make different transactions. The branch itself comes to the customer's village/place where the customer can make the transactions.

KIOSK Banking Outlet Services:-

  • No Frill Account
  • Cash Deposit
  • Cash Withdrawal
  • Remitance / Fund Transfer
  • RD account Opening
  • SHG Account Opening
  • Tiny Special Term Deposit/Fixed Deposit


Customer Account Nature :-

  • No-frills account means there is no minimum balance or charges.
  • Maximum balance can be Rs. 50000/-.
    (Balances above this can be held, but then account is converted to a regular bank account and the terms of the bank and documentations will apply to these accounts).
  • Minimum Balance - Zero Balance.
  • Maximum limit of transactions is Rs. 10,000/- per day.
  • No Cheque book, Passbook issued
  • Only Cash Transactions can be made & only in person by the account holder.
  • There is no signature required and only electronic thumb impression (Biometric Device) is used to access/use the account.
  • Customer also benefits from Long banking hours: As long as the shop is open.

 

Customer Service Point (CSP):-

 

CSP (Customer Service Point) Kiosk Oprator are engaged by the BC (Business Correspondence) for providing this above Services. CSP should be contaisn the following equiptment for running the KIOSK Banking:

  • Desktop PC / Laptop
  • web/Digital Camera
  • Printer
  • Biometric Device (Provide by BC)
  • Account Opening form (Provide by BC/FIC/RBO)


Customer Service Point Working Manual:--

CSP fill the Account Opening Form manually and collect correct document from the Customer for KYC supportive Document. And also fill Form 60 or 61 if PAN Card not avilable. 

Now CSP feed the Customer data as per Application Form in Kiosk Bank Website (https://www.sbikiosk.com).

After feed the Customer data as per Application Form in Kiosk Bank site, CSP note all the Reference No. on the Account Opening Form. After that CSP go to Link branch or meet FIC Manager for uoload the Customer Account. Bank Provide you all customer CIF and Account No with details which one entry CSP had done on kiosk site.

 

Account Loading Process in the Link Branch

 

Recuring Deposit (RD) Account:-

CSP can open Recurring Deposit (RD) Account of the Customer with minimum Rs. 100/- for fixed three year. On the Kiosk RD Account amount and no of times deposit in a month are flexible ie Customer deposit the amount multiple time in same month with not fixed amount. if any month deposit mising there will be no any charges.

Note: RD Amount will be paid to Customer after completed 36 month, whatever he deposited with interest.   

 

Self Help Group (SHG) Account:- 

CSP can Open the Self Help Group (SHG) Account on his kiosk. By SHG account CSP make transaction Rs. 200000/- per day.

SBI had launched a new Product and Services “SBI Tiny Special Term Deposit” Services on your CSP by KIOSK Banking,

Highlights of SBI Tiny Special Term Deposit

  •   Minimum Deposit amount --- Rs 1000/- thereafter in multiple of Rs 500/-
  •   Maximum Deposit amount   ----    Rs 10,000/-
  •   Tenure of Deposit     ----           6, 12, 24 & 36 months only
  •   Rate of interest         -----      As per Bank (Conform from your Link Branch)
